Today’s guest is Carrie Hartunian Smith, co-founder of Smart Marketing Consulting, a marketing company that takes the ‘classic tried and true’ business practices and incorporates 21st century on-line (and offline) proven techniques to create a thriving scalable, repeatable and profitable business, whether you have a product or service (or both in some cases).
Carrie’s passion was in retail and she wanted to set-up her own store. She would wake up to the thought of how she could compete and market her business. That prompted her to do a lot of research about traditional and modern marketing techniques with what works today. Instead of opening her online store, she ended up being sought after by businesses and being on different marketing and media panels, talking to people on how to build their business.
Carrie puts a strong emphasis on the importance of identifying where your audiences are in terms of Social Media marketing, and leverage on it. Being on every platform is not necessary; it’s a matter of focus.
