I wanted to know from an expert of the online world what the absolute priorities are for every business when it comes to promoting their business online.
Therefore, I was delighted when Lindsey Anderson, the founder and CEO of Web Impakt, a web development company, and Lindseys Web, an online resource for businesses, agreed to be interviewed for my podcast.
Without hesitation, Lindsey, stated the following as the “must dos”:
- That the site is presentable – and mobile friendly, the latter becoming more and more important.
- That you are promoting yourself on 2 social media – definitely Facebook, and one other, depending on your market.
- That your site is search engine friendly.
- That you capture the email address of everyone who lands on your site.
In the interview talks about how to go about these priorities.
The message is clear – you have to create the right site, and then you must be active on the site, through regular blogs and daily posting on social media. Just building a site and leaving it there is similar to believing the false premise that “build it and they will come”! They won’t, that is for sure.
For those who say – “I don’t have the time” then Lindsey outlines 2 suggestions – firstly, you can build your own virtual team, and she explains how you can do that, or secondly, you can get Lindsey to do it for you, at a very reasonable fee.
If you are serious about building your business, and I know you are, then listen to what Lindsey has to say- and take action.
To help you get going, Lindsey is offering a free website review to help you – and these are her words – “attract more customers and make more money”. To get this review, which is free of charge, go to http://www.lindseysweb.com/website-review-2/
There is a ton of information from Lindsey in this interview, so check it out here.
