That is the big promise from Rick Martinez and he certainly lives up to that in this interview.
His passion to live life fully and to help others do the same shine through in the way he speaks and acts.
Rick did not start out in life with a silver spoon in his mouth – far from it! He grew up in poverty but he decided, at an early age, that this was not going to define his life, and he chose to work hard to be better at everything he tried – and he succeeded!
He started out as a nurse and ended up running an agency that hired 600 nurses across the USA – not bad for a poor kid, from the wrong side of the tracks!
Rick is passionate about his own “why” and loves to help others to define theirs. He also uses a daily journal – this comes up a lot in so many interviews! – to acknowledge his gratitude and set himself up for the day. He finds this really helps with his positive mindset.
Like me, Rick is no lover of the “work/life” tag – he is just passionate about his life and his work is a key part of that, not separate from it.
