Trust and Value: How Can They Separate You from the Competition

It is not what you sell that differentiates you but it is your reputation and the experience you provide that separate you from the competition.

A lady with high energy, high impact, high motivation and one who makes things happen. Friends, that is an accurate description of today’s guest, Meridith Elliot Powell, Founder and Owner of MotionFirst.

An internationally certified coach, keynote speaker, and business development expert, Meridith is also an author of three books and recently signed with her publisher for her fourth book.

In our conversation, Meridith elaborates on why she puts so much emphasis on “trust and value”.

She also emphasizes the value of reputation and customer experience. She said further that it is not what you sell that differentiates you but it is your reputation and the experience you provide that separate you from the competition, which is true!

She further narrates that many of your customer base don’t care about the value but they care more about the price. One can go and visit groceries or department stores and see what she is talking about.

However, making your customer care about the value can easily be achieved if you, as an entrepreneur understands your customer base intimately, and then can add value based on that knowledge.

Meredith also gives detailed insights on employee engagement, which is worth listening, really!

One of her favorite books is the golden oldie, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

She starts her day with a 10-minute meditation and reads her goals card aloud.
