Kevin Jordan from Redpoint Marketing Consultants has written a book called “The Small Business Owners Guide to Local Lead Generation”.
I really liked Kevin’s approach because we hear so often the “big” success stories – the business that started from zero to billions of dollars in 3 years. Great stories but hard to relate that to the local business owner who is not seeking world domination.
This business owner simply wants to grow a solid, profitable enterprise.
This is where Kevin’s book comes in – and I highly recommend it.
In this interview you will hear Kevin talk about:
- How to get your customer to move from knowing you to buying from you – he outlines the process
- How the “black science” of Search Engine Marketing – that’s what I call it, not Kevin! – can be made easy to understand. And, more importantly, to implement!
- How email marketing is not just in the domain of “large” businesses – it works. By the way, I agree with that – and I say that with the experience of my own business.
- Why Kevin believes that you should outsource your social media work – and, even then, to focus on one or two platforms.
Kevin’s book recommendation is “The Success Principles” by Jack Canfield (available on Amazon US and Amazon UK). His daily habit is a very neat use of a Post It to determine his daily priorities – simple and it works!
